They have *real* air conditioning here; many UK hotels advertise A/C but then deliver some horrible facsimile, but I was quite cool in my room at the height of summer.

It feels like a home from home. Staff were rather frazzled, but it was a very hot sunday afternoon, and the bar and resto was heaving. Breakfast was delightful.

The atmosphere was relaxed and homely.
