Diglis House Hotel, hotel in Worcester

With views over the river, this riverside hotel is a 5-minute walk from Worcester city centre, and a 2-minute walk from the Royal Worcester Porcelain Museum and the cathedral.

Everything! The three of us meet up every year, as we are old university friends who take it in turn to organise venue etc. It was my turn this year and as a very old Kings Boy, born and brought up in Worcester I thought it was about time we met up there. I booked the Diglis for its location and the, only, good memories I had previously had of drinking there, plus my parents who still live in Worcester had recently eaten with you and highly recommended the service. The biggest recommendation I can give you is that my friends have never gone so overboard before on the praise of both the hotel and the location - clearly the weather made it even more perfect. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful from the checking in/out team, to the bar staff to the breakfast team. The hotel and garden were clean and well maintained and we all loved the rooms we had in the annex. Both myself and my friends would definitely stay with you again when/if in Worcester and will be recommending you to anyone who asks.

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area.

I stay outside Worcester but don't come from area. Some places can be expensive, too expensive. Takes time to find what is reasonable priced. Lot of roadworks, traffic diversions - very annoying and could understand people not visiting or staying long because of this. Lot of cafes, but almost all closed for business by early afternoon - bit of wilderness for such cafes in afternoon/evening.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum. Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

A beautiful town set in scenic setting, the river severn flows in the middle and there are plenty of car parks, and places to have a nice cup of tea, sit down, relax, take photos and enjoy qulaity time. The centre offers a good range of shopping. Plenty of food choices, best part majority Halal

A beautiful little city, not as touristy as York or Chester but along those lines. Getting off the train at Worcester Foregate Station (handy for day trips to Gloucester, Great Malvern and Hereford) and you're straight into the middle of town, loads of shops and restaurants, excellent museum, heavenly cathedral, Friar street, a lovely medieval road, includes the Tudor house museum. There is also a Royal Worcester pottery museum which is excellent....recommended. NOTE: A few Worcester attractions are closed Mon & Tue....need to check !!

The property was squeaky clean, with a good range of facilities. It was well appointed, nicely decorated and furnished, with everything required to cook full meals (if needed). The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, hand wash and gel available too. The location was great, very close to the canal basin and a lovely river walk. There was designated parking - a great option in a city centre. We usually stay in a hotel when we visit Worcester, but this is a much better way to visit.

Great location on the river close to the centre and the cathedral. There is a nice restaurant on site offering dinner and breakfast. The room was in a well renovated building, the decor was nice, there was a freestanding bath in our room and an electric shower in a separate bathroom. I wouldn't fault the hotel, but a pair of guests in the room opposite to ours were quite noisy all through the night, so I personally didn't get a good night's sleep. The bed was comfortable though.

Was absolutely amazed by the room. Loved how we could log on to Netflix (we’ve never had that before) loved the shower and bathroom. Fan was amazing. Loved the set up of the room. Loved having a stove and microwave for the option to cook which we did. It’s so close to the town centre everything is walking distance. Parking was easy and liked that the hotel was tucked away. Will definitely be staying again and again as we plan on staying in Worcester a lot more.

Fantastic in every way, we stayed for one night, we were upgraded to an Apartment, the evening meal was 10/10 and discounted by 50 per cent. When we arrived we were early and had a Coffee and the owner paid for them. We have no connection to this Hotel but honestly if you are stopping in Worcester as we did you will not be disappointed. Stayed in Room 204: * Room was on a whole very clean, as was rest of hotel. * Location is superb for almost everything in Worcester, especially Forgeate Street Station. * Rooms are extremely well finished, as are the bathrooms * Staff were generally very helpful. * All in all, I would happily stay again and recommend to others, (but perhaps not business travelers).
