Great place to walk round, nice architecture and variety of shops - scotney castle 10 minutes away One on the best places to eat from all places I’ve visited - the grill restaurant at the barn. Pleasant town for sight seeing. Good transport facilities by local transport. There are a reasonable number of eating places and the usual Coffee chains offering refrehments. The Pantiles is the usual visiting spot for small shops and antiques. There is a central Railway with connections all over the country. Has bus and taxi services too. There is a local library in the town centre with an interesting museum. There is an extensive shopping mall as well. It is a very interesting town.
It is a very interesting town. There are many fascinating buildings dating from the Georgian period, including the Pantiles. The shopping area, although small, has several quality outlets. The general vibe of the town centre is very good especially at night. Of course, Tunbridge Wells is set amongst beautiful Kent countryside. A great place to visit.

A very clean, quirky, quiet hotel with great decor, very friendly polite staff and our room was perfect ( superior king room). The breakfast was great, hot and very tasty! The breakfast was very good and the staff were conscientious about allergens. There was a concierge into the early hours of the morning. Décor was great too. Late check out time of 11 is handy. It was my husbands birthday, very kindly the manager let me send balloons and a banner and they put them up in our room. The room was modern, very clean and had everything you needed. The pool, sauna and steam room were a real treat and the gym looked great. It was a lovely walk to the centre, not too far at all. All of the staff were very friendly and made our stay very special. The entire hotel is beautiful.

On site car parking on a first come first served basis, Very spacious well appointed room , separate comfortable seating area and excellent bathroom with a roll top bath and rain shower. We took Sunday lunch in the upstairs dining room , nice round table for two , very good service. All the staff were friendly and helpful.
