Room was very modern, well decorated and bed was very comfortable. My room was on the top floor but the staff were kind enough to help me carry my suitcase up. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the food was also excellent.

This was a really lovely country hotel in a fantastic location perfect for a holiday in the Cotswolds. The Cotswolds wildlife park is 10 min drive.
Being an old house it had those historic original features which added to its charm.Room comfortable and clean, food in the restaurant was excellent, good portion size meant value for money. We had the Sunday roast which was lovely.
Beautiful garden areas and beer garden.

Room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. Burford House was right in the middle of the little village of Burford and extremely convenient. Breakfast was good as well, albeit quite oily. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast really lovely and served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice of cooked breakfast but for me the lovely plate of fruit served with yogurt and honey was my perfect start.
Loved the garden sitting there watching the dogs play and enjoying a cup of tea. Also appreciated the three lovely restaurants we were recommended and where we enjoyed our excellent evening meals.
Anna is a very special host who looked after us perfectly.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area.
Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre.
We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Take your camera. There's lots to photograph.
Fantastic Garden Centre just outside is also worth a visit with lots of stores of other items and clothing. The restaurant is excellent.
The Hound Cottage in Burford is an exceptional period cottage, situated only a few steps away from the centre of the village. We had a brief conversation with the hosts prior to our arrival and all our questions were answered. As you would expect with a period cottage the ceilings, especially in the bathroom, are quite low so keep that in mind when booking this beautiful cottage. Burford is a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds with its stunning nature, excellent pubs and restaurants and many sights nearby.
The location is excellent. Just note however, as a result of being on the Main Street, there is no dedicated parking and as this is the ‘Highway to the Cotswolds’ can be quite noisy at rush hour. A charming building obviously refurbished some years ago, retaining many original features. The quality of the food is locally sourced and excellent quality, and the hotel staff are absolutely lovely as were all those we met in pubs, shops and restaurants in Burford.
The premises were super clean. Our room was very large. The room was well maintained, really clean and refurbished. The food was even better than what is served in well known pubs in London. The location was also good. It is not on the main road like some of other B&Bs and so there wasn’t any traffic noise and it was peaceful. The hotel is very close to Burford medieval road by car, is just 5 mins drive. I will definitely come back.
This is a cute little place that had all the enmities I expected for the price. The room was nice and clean. It's off the main street so it was really quiet. The location is great--closed to restaurants, shops, and nice walking paths like the old church on the street behind. I loved the rose garden and the delicious baked goods. I recommend the fruit scone--best I've ever had.
Loved the restaurant and service we had in there. Food was amazing and the service from the young short chap with dark hair (not sure of his name) he was very knowledgeable, professional and helpful
Also, the location is great for Burford centre, only a 2 minute walk to the shops. It was easy to park on the street outside the hotel too.
What can I say that hasn't been said before? Anna's B&B oozes charm in spades, her dogs are personalities in their own right, and Anna knows all the best places to recommend so you feel less a tourist and more a traveller. Thanks again Anna for looking after us and making my wife's birthday break a treasured memory. Onkar and Isabel.
The staff at this wonderful 500 year old property were exceptional, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a very good room in the Coach House. We ate both breakfast and dinner on both days of our two night stay and the food and service was very good. We will definitely return to this hotel when next in the Cotswolds
The room was quite comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spacious with a strong shower. Bright room with good windows that really keep the sound out! We drove through Bourton-on-the-Water the day after we arrived and were extremely glad we had chosen to stay in Burford!! Much quieter and quainter.
I loved the location of the property close to Burfords main street but out of the way in the countryside. The breakfast was exceptional with pastries to start followed by breakfast of your choice! The beer garden was my favourite part of this hotel just so peaceful and beautiful surroundings.
Great recently refurbished hotel. Excellent value for money. The room was small but cosy and nicely decorated. The food was excellent and the included breakfast first class. Well done to the lovely friendly staff at The Prince of Burford. We will come back again.
Food was good for Breakfast and Dinner. I had both. The Hotel was central and easy to find. The staff were helpful and dealt with all my requests.
I liked Burford and the surrounding area. I would consider staying again. The Highway Inn was a mid range option
The hotel and the room were really cool. We were in an attic space with handhewn 16th Century beams and a huge four-poster bed. The pub downstairs was a hot spot and other eating/drinking options were available in this remarkable historic town.
Hotel is on a river. Beautiful, spotless room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed, new and soft towers. Dinner and breakfast are excellent. Love everything about this hotel. Staff are very nice.
A wonderful place to stay.
The staff were friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble for them.
Hotel and food exceptional
Would recommend and will definitely return.
Superb location and such friendly and professional staff. The food? - amazing! Plenty of space in our room, which had a wonderful view. The garden at the Angel is also very good.
