Everything! This place is so magical we decided to stay another night! Our room was like staying in a church…the family who owns it raised their children there so there is a warm feeling and a feeling of being somewhere special. The owner is delightful and cares about the history of the bldg. Sitting by the fire at night is something I will never forget. The staff is wondrous and the breakfast was so yummy both mornings and made to order with exactly what you want. The town is super quaint with a really great stores and restaurants! We travel a lot and this place is a hidden gem! If you are lucky enough to get a room definitely go!!!!

The site is situated in an area where there are many places of interest within easy reach. The village itself has several nice pubs which serve good food at reasonable prices. The lodges are self catering and there is a good balcony to sit on during the warmer months.David - 6.0Scored 6.0

The things that were good were excellent. The things that were bad were dreadful. Mistakes which should never be made in this type of establishment. The building is great. The hotel and restaurant it houses could be so much better.

Lovely village for walking around. A super selection of shops to browse and a good choice of teashops and places to eat for both lunch and evening meal. Broadway was a lovely little village, one of the larger ones...
Broadway was a lovely little village, one of the larger ones. We reached a little late in the evening so the shops were closed except for a super market and a pub. It was nice to walk around and admire the place in the quite summer evening without the crowds we saw the next day. High street is a good place to walk on and admire the stone buildings. Do visit the tower for good views.

The Lodge was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished. It is around 10 mins walk to the lovely village with many excellent bars and restaurants. There are plenty of walks, including Broadway Tower. Kelli is a great host, very thoughtful and kind. She ensured we were able to make the most of our stay. The staff was really nice, our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, the waiters, waitresses had a kind word for everyone. We liked the park with the pond and also the meadow with sheep. We really felt like home - or even better and want to go back once we are in England again.
