The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was really comfortable and a fridge with complementary items including wine, beer, fruit and water. I have no hesitation in recommending this property.

The property felt very inviting with a very warm and cozy feeling in our rooms. Our host Mathew, couldn’t have been nicer!! Giving us a tour of each room and chatting to us a little about his interests and passions. Such a down to earth guy, from the second we entered the property he was very welcoming, bubbly and friendly. He always made us feel very safe and comfortable, and always checked up on how we were doing and if everything was satisfactory!!

Really pretty, lovely clean sandy beaches. A small seaside town with only a small shopping area with small independent stores. Some nice restaurants.
As with many seaside towns there are some closed down shops and more maintenance needed in places, a little jaded in parts. However the main town Beach, Viking Bay is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. Residents were friendly and it felt safe.

Do not visit in the winter or when it is raining.
Do not visit in the winter or when it is raining. The menu is very limited at weekends and if there is a function at the time of visit, you can forget about any available facilities in the hotel.
We booked tea for one evening and this was extremely disappointing for the amount of money charged.

There are lots of independent cafés, restaurants and shops, beautiful sandy beach. It’s easy to visit nearby coastal towns like Margate where you can visit the Turner Contemporary - highly recommended.

Been scores of times over my life - this was the first long weekend to see relatives who now live in Broadstairs - it's a beautiful English seaside town with tons of history and the best beaches, I think, in the south of England - wonderful for summer swimming (especially stone bay). has a great community feel, good restaurants and pubs and is wonderful for kids and oldies alike.

we had a stake evening meal meal that was expensive and was a small portion for the price the cooked for was OK but not what i was expecting from what is presumed to be a high class hotel that fell well short of expectations. i would NOT stay there again mainly because there is NO parking at the hotel and it made exploring the area not some to do as you would not know where you could park the car when returning.
I would say that Jo went above and beyond as our host, very nice lady welcoming and warm and very well informed. Me and my boyfriend/partner, were very happy with our stay. had a really lovely time, at Broad Stairs in Kent where we stayed.
lots to do and see, good food restaurants for all, enjoyed the fresh burger at the Viking Bay Cafe, was delicious. We both feel revived after our break. The weather was good to,re so only being there for the weekend made all the difference.
Thanks Jo and Adam,

A hidden gem of property, my first and only choice to stay whilst in Broadstairs visiting family and friends - perfect location for the town. Right on your doorstep. The property is just fantastic can’t fault it in anyway. Excellent host and such a wonderful comfy cosy flat with everything you need to short or longer stay. Clean , fresh linen, lovely bed . Just super 10/10
I liked everything about the property.
The staff were professional, friendly , helpful, the location was great and nice.
The room was very clean and had all the facilities I needed.
It is an exceptional nice Hotel.
The best hotel in Broadstairs.
Breakfast was cooked by a ‘Professional Cook’ was very delicious to an exceptional standard.
The bar was clean the staff were helpful and a good selection of food on the menu. The hotel was in the ideal location one way Broadstairs and the other way was Margate and if you wanted a change there is a pub about 10mins from the hotel. Breakfast was very good
Great selection of hot and cold.
We were made to feel very welcome at this friendly family run hotel. The food was excellent and the room very comfortable and clean. Set in a lovely location with stunning views overlooking Stone Bay with easy access to the beach and within strolling distance of beautiful Broadstairs and Viking Bay.
bedroom was clean and the bed was super comfy, had a great nights sleep. Accommodation is separate from the pub so you don’t hear any noise. I didn’t have the breakfast but it looked good, full English for under £10! lots of free parking and ideal spot for visiting the Kent Coast
If you are planning to stay in Broadstairs, there is no better location. It is literally in the hub of the activity and overlooks the coastline. It is a very pet friendly hotel and the breakfast was faultless, (slight delay due to being busy aside). No hesitation in recommending.
The location is wonderful right near Viking Bay and close to lots of things. The shower is wonderful as well and the flat was very clean and comfortable. With the location and the design of the flat, it makes a perfect place to stay while in Broadstairs.
The location is excellent, right in the heart of Broadstairs. Check in was easy, the room was clean, the beds comfortable and the shower was better than any hotel with a comparable price. Overall, great value for money in the perfect location.
The location, the amenities, the room, the staff, the breakfast all were to a very high standard. And all at a good price. When I head back to Broadstairs Number One will be where I'll be staying. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
the facilities were perfect for my requirements. I was working remotely so needed good internet. Very clean. Saw previous complaints about the shower, but i thought it was fine. A short drive or jog to Broadstairs beach.
Beautiful room (ask for 26), great powerful shower, coffee machine and pods provided which is so rare in hotels and is such a bonus when you're a coffee snob!
Lovely views, friendly staff.
The hotel is perfectly well situated in Broadstairs, in front of the beach and at 5mn walk to the city center. Beautifull vue on the sea.
Warm welcome and breakfast delicious !!
