A lovely historic town with some tourist attractions within walking distance. We spent a day exploring the town and visited the model village, the motor museum and Birdland. There are many cafes and restaurants to choose from; in warmer weather it would be lovely to eat outside and enjoy the views of the river.

Food options are varied, good old English, Italian, fine dining and tapas. The village is beautiful with many old properties that are well maintained. Pubs are oldy worldly and very busy at weekends. Plenty of good coffee shops. Paid Parking is available at either end of the village if staying over 1 hour so no problem parking. Village parking is restricted. Walking options are all around and many locals are happy to oblige if you need directions.

The peaceful environment gave us a great and relaxing feel albeit our stay was a bit too short. The town is filled with great culture and atmosphere and the people were kind and friendly. A place worth to visit for a good break !

Absolutely stunning, beautiful place full of character.

Absolutely stunning, beautiful place full of character. We visited slightly out of season so was not too busy. Smiths is an amazing restaurant, specialising in gourmet burgers, you will not be disappointed! Lots of other independent shops selling a range of crafts, antiques and much more.

Broadlands Hotel was a fantastic base for the Cotswolds, we loved Bourton-on-the-Water and what it had to offer. We stayed in Room 3 which was small but had everything we needed for a 2-night stay. The hotel was nicely decorated and the lounge was lovely to spend time in. We were able to park easily behind the hotel and breakfast every morning was delicious and great to wake up to. Would highly recommend Broadlands as a base for anyone looking to do a Cotswolds trip!

Loved the feel of the property compared to a more traditional hotel - the atmosphere suited the cotswolds vibes in a way you wouldn't be able to replicate if it was a large business. Location was faultless, and had excellent access/parking arrangements. The toiletries/facilities were very thoughtful, and we really appreciated this. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful too. Beautiful room.

The hotel was aesthetically pleasing and had lots of luxury touches in the room (dyson hairdryer, nice bath salts etc). The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly - they really helped us out when we had a problem with our room on the first night and rectified the issue brilliantly. The bath tub in the room was a lovely touch. The food in the restaurant was outstanding!

Had never stayed in Bourton on the Water previously. Selected the hotel as a result of on line reviews and car parking availability. The hotel did not disappoint. from very friendly and helpful receptionist to all the staff. The room was spotless and warm and beds comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant - burgers taken to another level! All in all a lovely experience.

Beautifully decorated interior with complementary finishing touches. The hotel is family run with a real homely feel. The hotel runs a sister restaurant, we went for breakfast and it was the best meal of our trip! The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance to all of Bourton-on-the-water's main attractions!

Location of the hotel was ideal being in the centre of the town. Car park attached to hotel a real bonus as Bourton on the Water is a tourist destination so difficult to find parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very good.
