The property itself was located in a low key residential area with a beautiful garden. The birds at sunset were magical. We sat and had a couple beers on our balcony and were mesmerized by the diversity and jungle sounds. Shon, the property host, connected us with Lalith @ Yellow Tuk Tuk who took us around for reasonable rates. 100% excellent Sri Lankan hospitality. A/C and Fan were fabulous for good sleeping. It's the best place to stay at Anuradhapura! It's so peaceful and the family is so kind. Best food and always very helpful. You can just spend the whole day at the little pond observing over 25 bird species or ride with the bicycle to the historic sites or walk to the nerby lake for sunset. I even stayed a day longer. The owners just bild a new guestroom which has the most wonderful view where you don't want to leave the bed.
