The town itself is drab & not for tourists, the old town is nice & work is ongoing with the area looking onto the sea but will be stunning when completed. The restaurants were very similar with pretty much the same menus, not alot of effort put into the visuals of the food & the food & wine was expensive. Some restaurant/shop workers were unhelpful & rude, boat trip was ok. Taxis were expensive but Ubers were nearly 50% cheaper.

Zadar makes it possible to enjoy rich heritage and culture of the town, as well as trips to nearby National parks. For relaxation near the sea and swimming it is worth going to Preko (by ferry, 15 minutes ride)

There are few shops in the city, you have to walk a lot, there are few restaurants and they are expensive. The beach is clean, the beach is stony, not sandy. The old town is pleasant, with many bars and cafes.

Zadar is a beautiful historic city with a lovely old town, seaside promenade, and unique attractions like the sea organ. Getting around is easy on foot. I enjoyed the local seafood and wine. The only downside was the crowds during peak tourist season, so I'd recommend visiting in the shoulder seasons.

Zadar is a very easy city to get around on foot and mainly flat.
The sea organ was amazing, just so different.
People were friendly and the majority of people spoke good English. It has a very Italian influence in their food in the restaurants.
We spent 2 weeks travelling Croatia and Sites of Zadar was by far the nicest apartment we stayed in.
The location can't be beaten- in the centre of the old town and everything on your doorstep.
The apartment was modern, recently renovated and spotless. The bathroom in particular was lovely and the shower pressure was great.
The host, Vladimir, was very friendly, easy to communicate with and offered a flexible check in time.
We would 100% return next time we visit Zadar.
Awesome location. Near the bus station, near the pier and old town. Towels were provided which is a pleasant surprise. Even offers washing machine and a mini pantry where you could prepare your meal. Bed was very comfortable and everyone has their own charging point and a little bag that you can put important items such as your eyeglasses etc. The owner of the hostel was also very friendly and gives you advice on where is nice to visit in Zadar.
The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood close to the old town, therefore making it the ideal choice. The rooms are nicely decorated, very clean and equipped with all the items a traveler might want. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, while the breakfast-dinning area is very nice. The outside-terrace area allowed us to enjoy our evening drinks. I would definitely choose it in my next visit to Zadar!!
Lovely property and grounds with pool, a little on the outskirts of Zadar we travelled in by bus, the room had the feel of a lodge, a separate lounge and bedroom area, even a view down to the beach from the bathroom through the bedroom. The food was very good although possibly because it was very early in the season choice was a little limited. The hotel is dog friendly but we weren’t disturbed by any barking.
this was our favorite spot in Croatia for value, location and comfort! while parking is definitely limited, we snagged a spot RIGHT outside the front door and left our car for the duration of our time in Zadar. it’s a quick walk through old town. the apartment was well furnished and the bedrooms were beautiful. the AC worked great in each room, making our stay in May wonderful!
A comfortable, well furnished and well equipped new apartment within easy walk of the old town. Easy to get to by car with a dedicated private parking. We reached Zadar past midnight, but the host Christine still met us to handover the key and explain everything very cheerfully and also graciously gave us a later checkout as she had flexibility the next day.
Anja is lovely and her apartment is equally adorable. Right next to the Forum you could not have a better location in Zadar old town. Beautifully decorated it belies its front door and stairs, high spec in every sense and good Wi-Fi. I loved staying there as nothing is far away, but I still felt I had something much more than a hotel room to return to.
Grgur is fantastic. He has the capacity to run a big hotel. He explained everything in concise detail about the room, Zadar and recommendations for neighboring towns. Room had everything we needed. A/C is ice cold. Garage is perfect for small car. Very beneficial for Zadar. Visit Nin. Cute, small and less tourists.
exactly the same as in photos. host was very pleasant. I’m traveling a lot for work and tried best hotels and service in many countries, but this app can compare to all of them. Coffee capsules, tea, bathrobe, amenities… like in 5 stars hotel. really enjoyed our vacation here.
Location is great as it's about 8 mins walk from bus terminal to hotel. Also centrally located so you can walk to old town center. Most of all, staff and owners of property are always there to greet you in the morning and chat with you.
Such nice small boutique hotel, only four rooms. We had the top floor room with a terrace overlooking the city and partly sea view. Location was amazing in Zadar Old Town. Cute decorations, and near and clean rooms and bathrooms
Phenomenal room, like in a 5 star hotel without such a price tag, great location near the Old City centre and close to Kolovare beach.
The host was also great and super helpful with all requests, really appreciate that!
An ok hotel located 10 minutes away from the old town of Zadar. Fairly forgettable, but the room was clean, the breakfast buffet was ok and the price was reasonable. The hotel was fine for a one night stay.
Newly refurbished hotel, conveniently located. Walking distance to Old town and Visnjik complex. Solid service and personnel. Quite extensive breakfast choices.
