right across from lake weroona so great for views and walks. had large balcony out through the doors, great for sitting in afternoon sun. room was very clean, bed was king and comfy…no starched sheets, they were soft without the rustle!

Exhibition at Art Gallery - Impressions of Life Paris 1880-1925 - excellent. Also impressed with visit to the Great Stupa near Eaglehawk. Bendigo is a large town and has many suburbs. Eaglehawk (where we stayed) is a smaller area within Bendigo. Not too much going on apart from having a couple of birds of prey in the name. Still pretty sweet.

This is the perfect place for sightseeing! It's filled with rich history and interesting places to visit, such as the cathedral, parks, tram tour, Alexandra Fountain, and gold mine tour. We went to the Parisian Art Exhibition which was amazing.
We went to the Parisian Art Exhibition which was amazing. The restaurant also had a French menu which was very good. Lovely staff. The Chinese Dragon gardens & surrounding gardens were beautiful with all the fall leaves coming. We were there Monday & Tuesday so some of the restaurants we were thinking of going to were closed those days. The church was also closed those days. Bendigo is a very relaxed & beautiful historic town. We probably should have stayed another day to even see more of the nearby areas. We had breakfast at an amazing organic restaurant that also sells fruit & vegetables. You will find it in Lyttleton Terrace. Bendigo has a great art gallery and some fantastic heritage buildings and museums. There are also good food options such as The Dispensary (highly recommend). It is a good base camp for discovering the area to visit other heritage towns.

We drove a long way to Bendigo, to see ELVIS - these fine folk met us at reception, took us to our door, and provided us with absolutely everything we asked for. Oh, the facilities were extremely clean - I think they put in more effort on cleanliness than most motels owners do. Very convenient location - we walked to the Elvis Exhibition at the Art Gallery in the CBD - so frankly, very good value for money.
