The family room was excellent. Plenty of storage space with hanging facility and a basin in the room.
The breakfast was outstanding. Unfortunately there was only one member of staff and he had to manage the desk, as well as cook and serve the breakfast.
There was also good self catering facilities for guests to use.
Reasonably quiet neighborhood.

A Warm and comfortable house within walking distance of Sheringham and main town centre shops. House was in good order however the toilet seat needed properly fixing and the kitchen was in need of a refurbishment.

The cafe at the nearby Lighthouse Baptist Church was a great place for lunch and the Little Theatre had an excellent programme. Shops and public library very good places to visit. Easy to get around one way system by car and plenty of disabled parking spaces.

We were there for a specific event, but found Sheringham itself a bit of a let down. Maybe because it was April and out of season? but everything seem to close at 4pm and then practically completely shut down by 8pm!
AND THIS IS ON A SATURDAY!
There was only one proper takeaway fish and chip bar (2 others were closed down) and this one had a queue the length of the entire road!
Even the restaurants were closed by 8!
After that the only things that were still open were amusements and ice cream bars, of which I counted at least 4! within feet of each other!
Where does everyone go?

A great base for a North Norfolk short stay.
A great base for a North Norfolk short stay.
We find that Sheringham is mainly day trippers so becomes quiet come early evening, not as crowded as other spots with a handful of good eateries.
Access to Cromer via the beach walk or cliff top walk or bus or train if not feeling energetic.
Holt via the steam train is a great day trip from here.
A lot of country parks/national trust properties within half hour drive.
Don't miss whelks copper tea rooms overlooking the pebble beach end of the beach and Stubbys pizza is also great.

I like Sheringham, but only visited twice in Winter (for Thursford Show).
I think it would be lovely in Summer.
It is an old fashioned seaside resort , but unlike many others, has thrived and not deteriorated.
Many individual shops and a few nice pubs and coffee places.

Sheringham is a fab little seaside place with everything you need, and spotlessly clean. Lots of lovely shops, pubs/restaurants and cafes, and a fabulous long pebbled/sandy beach, what’s not to love!
This was an accommodation only address but was located in a position that gave easy access to the town centre and seafront with its wide range of pubs, eating establishments and traditional shopping areas. On street parking, close to the property proved to be relatively easy but I'm not sure this would be the case in high season. The rear garden was secure and a great area for sitting when the weather is warm enough. Sheringham is a friendly small town and offers great customer service in all shops, pubs and the Heritage Railway.
My wife and I stayed overnight at this classy B & B a few days ago during a trip to Norfolk and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are tastefully and uniquely decorated, clean and with all you need in terms of facilities. Our hosts were lovely, friendly and extremely helpful and attentive. The breakfast was scrumptious to cap it all off well. We would highly recommend HH and will definitely look to stay there again when we are next on a trip to that area of Norfolk.
Great location on the seafront at the end of the High Street with paid parking just yards away, around the corner. The building retains its characterful history and charm yet tastefully modernised for comfort. We arrived early so had lunch here before checking into our room, and dinner later, after a fabulous ride on the North Norfolk railway, the station just a stroll away. Both meals were good, so too their wines and the place was buzzing at lunchtime.
The room, Colombo, is a great size also very comfortable and relaxing. Bed also a good size. Great big wardrobe. Perera and Vatsala are a lovely couple - very obliging, friendly and hospitable. We loved the range of fruit provided for breakfast. Also very happy with the location - right next to the old priory and maze and priory gardens - and just a walk away from the town and seafront. We loved Sheringham and had great weather throughout.
Fisherman's Rest is a bright, stylish and well located apartment very centrally located in the lovely seaside town of Sheringham. The weekend we visited ( March) it was cold and grey outside, but the apartment was warm and cosy, and we enjoyed spending time there. Jo is a helpful and welcoming host, and supplied tea and coffee and biscuits which was appreciated.
Fantastic weekend break spent at beautiful Sheringham.
Berlington Berties offers quiet accommodation just a 5 minute walk from the town. The hotel itself was decorated beautifully, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was exceptional.
Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great location for exploring the area. Quiet road. Easy walk into Sheringham for cafes, restaurants, beach and steam trains.
Very comfortable and well equipped house (very homely!) with pleasant garden and off road parking.
Friendly hosts responded quickly to messages and gave lots of useful information.
From the initial greeting and help with our luggage, the beautiful spacious room and the location everything was set fair for a good couple of nights. Sammy and John were excellent hosts and the breakfast was excellent. This is definitely a guest house which goes on our list for the North Norfolk coast
The location was fantastic! We love Sheringham, so be able to walk out and in a few minutes either be on the sea front or in the centre of town was brilliant.
Like other guests we cannot compliment the cleanliness highly enough.
10/10 we will definitely rebook 😁
easy walk into the town. the room was very comfortable and the hosts were superb.
the breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. a perfect choice of accommodation on our first visit to the Norfolk coast.
on site parking another bonus.
Very comfortable, well furnished small apartment. Perfect for our four night stay. Better furnished than I expected from the photos and reviews. Near shops and the seafront. Pleasant little town.
Great location for a walking holiday, close to the coast, Sheringham has a large number of shops/food outlets,
local buses are a convenient way to return from a long castal walk.
We loved everything! really comfy bed, beautifully decorated, private parking space & only a very short walk from Sheringham centre. we really enjoyed staying here
