Lovely wee toon. Lots ongoing. KILT-WALK w/e. Helpful locals. Clean and tidy streets. Pubs, cafe’s and shops doing a great trade. Many outdoor facilities to choose from. Shopping outlet by Loch Lomond a brilliant place to visit. The wee eaterie by Pavers Shoe shop is great for food, drinks,people watching, views and a good venue for men, when the ladies go shopping 😄. This wee toon was rammed with walkers and “Kilties” ( people assisting the walkers and doing a great job of traffic management etc. keeping pedestrians and drivers safe , throughout the whole w/e ). Outstanding wee toon.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. Didn't spend a huge amount of time in Balloch bit did a Loch Cruise with Sweeneys which was very pleasant. Also took a walk through the Castle Park and saw a Red Squirrel there, park is beautiful too which also has a walled garden. Visitor information was very accommodating, good food. Train, buses good service. Resturant, Mavi, Princess Rose, Tullies so far Good food and hosts. Loved the train and bus drivers helpful too. Corner store by train very accommodating, can get sim card for your phone and some groceries, small deli, people use a lot, friendly owners/workers xx Shopping mall too/like. With things children can ride and ply on. Buses to go from Balloch area, walked a lot from Bruach Lodge, thru a park with picnic tables with fire pits to cook otherside is view of the Loch. Stop off to eat in Duck Bay/Hotel, good food in restaurant, pleasant service and coffee shop with eats. Still discovering xx Small pharmacy, gift shop too Need more shopsAAnonymous

What can I say about the Tullie Inn, other than it's most likely the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed in. Perfect location, excellent room and facilities and friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful restaurant area with quick service and well prepared/presented dishes. As for breakfast? Be prepared to skip lunch. We had the full Scottish and were absolutely stuffed. Definitely high on my list of hotels to revisit.iainYoung couple

My host was very kind and welcoming. My little room was spotless and very well equipped with hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was enough to feed a family of five! I was delighted to find a single room at such a reasonable price, enabling me to visit my son and his family who do not have room to put me up for the night.

The hotel itself was extremely clean , with wonderful staff who made us feel so welcome - the breakfast is a must 😍

I can't think of anything that was lacking. The friendly host, the lovely room, the delicious breakfast, and the great location were all perfect. The host was so friendly and helpful. She even moved her own car so that we would have a better place to park! We are trying to think of an excuse to return!
