Playground of the Adriatic
A longtime favourite holiday destination of Italians, Rimini is all about the beach. And with almost 10 miles of sand, it’s easy to see why. It is said that there are 1000 Rimini hotels, and while that might be a slight exaggeration, this Adriatic playground does have more than just sun, sand and glorious sea.
The food is fantastic. Well, this is Italy after all. With some of the best nightlife in Italy, Rimini has a wealth of bars with dance floors, many by the beach, and the next door town of Riccione is a clubbing mecca.
Family-orientated Rimini attractions include the dolphinarium and the Italy in Miniature and Fiabilandia theme parks. A few miles south of Rimini Miramare Airport is Oltremare, a zoo-turned-amusement park located next to Aquafan, a huge water park that becomes a nightclub with foam parties.
For silence and shade, head to Borgo San Giuliano, an area of the town with pastel-painted houses and pedestrian streets. There are also remnants of the town’s Roman past to explore: Tiberius bridge, the Roman arch and the 3rd-century Surgeon’s House.

I like the old town, colorful typical houses, restaurants, clubs specially Coconut, parks, shops. The busses were on time, but the drivers were driving the buses terrible. Sometime they don't stop leave you. They don't any info-announce about the stops.

Lovely town with 2 different parts of the town, the coast side of the railway line and the town side, both different but good. Characterful buildings, great restaurants & cafes & great beaches. Interesting Roman remains (which I wasn’t expecting). Piazza Cavour and adjoining areas outstanding architecture. Bicycles and people walking dogs everywhere, but no collisions. City centre a great place for walking with no cars and no traffic lights in old town but heavy traffic elsewhere. Rimini is a beach resort town.
Rimini is a beach resort town. We visited it in December so we didn't have high expectations. Boy, were we wrong! The beach area and promenade were full of walkers and cyclists. Traffic wasn't terrible at all. I liked the fact that you could walk along the beach area with having to deal with cars, motorcycles, or Vespas. The core downtown area is a bit small but not lacking. There were a number of shops and restaurants at our disposal. We enjoyed looking at the various architectures in the area, including the old gate. One thing we really enjoyed was the pedestrian/bike path that runs from just south of downtown, eastward to the beach area. It was very quiet and relaxing. We never felt ill at ease. Our original intent was to use Rimini as a gateway to San Marino. However, I think we enjoyed the city more than visiting a new country.

We had a tour guide to take us around the city and its landmarks, much more interesting city than I thought previously, our guide, Nadia, was extremely knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. There are some great restaurants and bars in the main town, so much more than the beach to Rimini!

The breakfast was great - especially for Italy, it had plenty for every taste. The personnel was helpful and polite. The bed was really big and comfortable. The hotel is just 2 min from the beach but you need to walk 5 min to the beach they have contract with for a discount. We also used the bikes they offer - it was a nice ride. The room was not very big but enough and cleanliness was good.

While it was winter, places were still open. Excellent breakfast and appreciated all of the variety and the portion sizes. Room and bathroom were comfortable and appreciated the focus on sustainability. Excellent wifi and helpful staff. I would definitely come back to experience the summer in the area.

Next to the Kennedy plaza, across the street from the Maria Callas trail that will take you to the old town Rimini and train station. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast had multiple options to choose from and food was fresh. Hotel has a deal with the beach club on front for umbrella and chair rentals. Internet service was good, need it for work and did not have any issues.

The beach chairs and umbrellas made the beach doable with a toddler. The breakfast was a nice added touch and the staff was very friendly. Room was smaller but there is so much to do outside you won't spend a lot of time in your room. The rooms were very clean!
